Believing the record was a diss, Pump responded on social media, saying “Wow you get so much props. You diss a 17-year-old. Lame-ass jit.” However, J. Cole stopped the crowd at one of his recent concerts from chanting "Fuck Lil Pump," and at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, Pump revealed that the beef was squashed: "We on good terms," he said.
