Wedding Reception

Hi,

Couple in their late 20s is hosting a reception for 250 in a modest cost of living area following a church wedding. The hosts are providing two types of signature mixed drinks, champagne, wine, beer, soda, hors d'oeuvres, dinner/dessert, and DJ.
Your thoughts on whether mixed drinks (in addition to the hosted signature drinks) should be available at their wedding reception -- and if so, cash bar or hosted?

Any help will be apprecited.
