What to wear to a Santiago wedding

HI,

My last post on what to wear digressed into wedding attire, and ironically, we have just been invited to a wedding in Santiago. The reception is being held at 8pm at Alto San Francisco. So, my question for today is whether to let the moths out of one of my evening gowns and give it few spins on the dance floor, or to wear a cocktail dress. Thus far, my wedding experiences here have been an afternoon wedding at a campo, to which I wore a silk garden dress, and a wedding in Concepcion, to which I wore a cocktail dress. Looking forward to reading first hand observations.

Please help.
